Volunteer

Charleston Harbor Fest is a charity event, with proceeds supporting education programs aboard the Spirit of South Carolina tall ship. So in addition to making new friends, being outside, enjoying the natural beauty of Charleston’s waterfront, as a volunteer you will also be sending kids sailing and supporting education. This event would simply be impossible without the amazing volunteers that choose to join us each year. And it’s fun too! We hold a volunteer appreciation party following the event and other various perks throughout the year.

We will need hundreds of volunteers to make it a successful event this year! Volunteers will be active in all areas of the festival so we have something for everyone! Shifts will be about 6 hours long and will run (roughly) 9am – 2pm or 1pm – 6 pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday. There are some evening events and pre event set-up that we may need help with as well so let us know if you’re interested in helping in those areas too.

For all of your hard work you won’t walk away empty handed!! We will provide you with lunch, drinks and of course…a Charleston Harbor Fest ticket which provides you access to the dock and Tall Ships!

Volunteer form has been removed . . . Thanks to all who signed up this year to volunteer for Charleston Harbor Fest. We appreciate your support. Feel free to visit tomorrow!

Please consider volunteering at the Charleston Harborfest 2010!

It’s going to be a fantastic Charleston Harbor Fest 2009!
