Charleston Harbor Fest is one of only two official ports of the Tall Ships Atlantic Challenge series. This is a unique opportunity to see the Tall Ships up close and on many – to tour the deck, meet the crew and explore the unique features of these amazing ships.

One ticket provides access to this event for ALL 3 days!
Adult Tickets (18 years old and over): $15 in advance - $20 day of event
Ages 6-17 ticket price: $5 in advance - $10 day of event
5 years and under free
Open hours of each Tall Ship® may vary, so please check signs adjacent to the ships for hours. Your ticket does not guarantee access to all Tall Ships at all times. The US Coast Guard Eagle is closed on Saturday, June 27 until 3:00 p.m. for a Change of Command.
Ticket holders are encouraged to use Charleston city parking garages (4 are offering $5 flat daily rates) and remote parking sites (FREE on Saturday and Sunday with free bus shuttles coming directly to the event sites). Purchasing your tickets online in advance will save you time and money. We offer a significant discount for advance purchases. Please remember to bring your printed receipt from Etix to the Ticket Centers at the Charleston Maritime Center and the Union Pier Passenger Terminal in order to redeem your dock pass. Tickets may also be purchased the day of the event at the event location and also at Charleston Visitor Centers. Prices will be $20 adult and $10 student if not purchased in advance.

VIP Tickets
Charleston Harbor Fest offers a limited number of VIP Packages that include everything you need to take your festival experience to the next level. All packages include three-day access passes to the festival grounds with Express Line privileges for viewing the Tall Ships, plus access to the VIP lounges located at the Charleston Maritime Center and the Union Pier Passenger Terminal.
The VIP Lounge offers a comfortable air conditioned space near the docks with light food and beverages including beer and wine for adults.
Express Lines give you priority viewing of the visiting Tall Ships.
International Tall Ships Soiree Friday, June 26th at 8:00 p.m. One of the most beautiful sights during the weekend is the Tall Ships decked out in lights at night. Garner the full favor of the international event while hopping from ship to ship at the Passenger Terminal. This private reception features various food stations and an open bar. Children are welcome!

International Tall Ships Soiree
One of the most beautiful sights during the weekend is the Tall Ships decked out in lights at night. Garner the full favor of this international event while hopping from ship to ship at the Union Pier Passenger Terminal on Friday, June 26th from 8:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. This private reception features various food stations and an open bar, plus music and the chance for an intimate look at the ships and mingling with the international audience. Children are welcome! Please note that tickets for this event are ONLY AVAILABLE IN ADVANCE. They will not be available the evening of June 26th and may only be purchased online. Please also note that photo identification will be required for entrance.
Sailing Aboard the Tall Ships
What could be better than visiting the docks and touring the amazing ships visiting Charleston? How about sailing one? Both the Spirit of South Carolina and the Schooner Virginia will offer opportunities for you to sail aboard a classic tall ship. Help raise the sails, take the helm or merely sit back and relax enjoying the view of Charleston Harbor and the stunning scene of all the other tall ships. Each sail is approximately 2 hours. Water and soda is provided onboard. Please wear comfortable flat shoes. Tickets are non-refundable.
As of June 12th, all but one of the sails below are sold out! We will post any additional sailing opportunities aboard the tall ships if they arise. See the last sail on this page which is the incredible opportunity to actually sail on the Schooner Virginia during the Parade of Sail!
