Exhibitor
Charleston Harbor Fest invites you to join us for this year’s event June 26-29th, 2009. The festival grounds will be open Friday-Sunday, and then Monday, June 29 will feature the amazing Parade of Sail in Charleston Harbor as the ships leave for Boston. There will be no exhibitor displays on Monday. Charleston is one of only two U.S. ports for this grand Tall ships event. We anticipate more than 80,000 visitors throughout the weekend, which makes your presence there ever-more important.
With more attractions and visitors than ever before, this is the perfect year to get involved! Attractions will include more than a dozen Tall Ships® from all over the world including the US Coast Guard Eagle, Capitan Miranda, our very own Spirit of South Carolina, and many, many more! We will be featuring an authentic Olde Charles Towne living history camp, wooden boat display, children’s village, education village, family boat building, air show, military and discovery exhibits, food, entertainment and much more.
To become a marine exhibitor, marine artist, or modern static boat exhibitor, please fill out the application below and return it as soon as possible with your payment. This PDF file allows you to fill in the fields online, but the application must be printed, signed and sent with payment. Exhibitor applications are juried and an application does not guarantee your space as an exhibitor. Entries must be relevant to the nature of the event and space is limited. If you don’t know whether to apply as a marine artist or a marine exhibitor please follow these guidelines. To be qualified as a marine artist work must be handmade by the artist using original and creative designs. Any imports, manufactured goods or work, which has been produced with commercial kits, molds, patterns, plans, prefabricated forms, or other commercial methods are subject to the marine exhibitor rate. Please do not hesitate to contact us directly with any questions and we hope to share this great celebration of our rich maritime history with you this June!
