Education Village

The Education Village during the 2008 Charleston Harbor Fest has grown in its size and scope, but will still remain a free area for hands-on fun!  This year the Village will be located throughout Liberty Square directly in front of the Aquarium.

Education Tent:

In the Education Tent organizations and groups from throughout the Lowcountry will share their mission through hands-on interactive activities.  Festival patrons can learn how to make a fish print, fly an underwater vehicle, explore a salt marsh, try their hand at knot tying and much much more.
Also, on display in the Education Tent will be maritime and marine related photographs taken by the Kids With Cameras Organization.  Come by and see what it is like to sail aboard the Spirit of South Carolina through a series of images taken by area students.
